Cookie & Local Storage Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This policy explains how Framepad IO uses cookies and similar storage technologies on our website and app.
We use only what is needed to operate core functionality and, if you agree, optional analytics to improve product quality.
1. Storage Categories We Use
We use two categories: strictly necessary storage (always active) and optional analytics storage (active only with your consent).
2. Strictly Necessary Storage
These items are required for security, core functionality, and to store your basic preferences such as theme and consent choice. For this category, no optional consent banner choice is required under applicable ePrivacy rules.
3. Optional Analytics (PostHog)
Optional analytics are off by default and only enabled if you choose "Accept all analytics". We use PostHog to understand usage trends and improve reliability and usability.
Legal basis for optional analytics is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you choose "Accept necessary only", analytics remain disabled.
4. Managing Your Choice
You can change your analytics choice at any time in app settings.
When consent is withdrawn, new analytics events stop. You can also clear stored data in your browser settings.
5. Retention
Your analytics preference is stored for up to 12 months unless you update it sooner.
Essential local settings remain on your device until removed.
6. International Transfers
If optional analytics are enabled, related data may be processed outside the EEA, including the United States.
Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy over time. The latest version is always published on this page.
